Product Description: 

Sodium Persulfate is a white crystalline powder. It is used as a bleaching agent for fats, textiles and hair, a battery depolarizer, and in emulsion polymerization.

Product Application: 

Sodium peroxydisulfate is used as a radical initiator for emulsion polymerization reactions like acrylonitrile butadiene styrene, detergent component, soil conditioner and soil remediation. It is also used for curing of formaldehyde adhesives. It acts as a bleaching agent and in the production of dyestuffs.

Product Procedure: 

Sodium Peroxide is a yellowish-white powder. It is used as a bleaching agent, disinfectant, laboratory chemical, and in the production of other chemicals. * Sodium Peroxide is on the Hazardous Substance List because it is cited by DOT and NFPA.

Product Note: 

Sodium persulfate is a specialized oxidizing agent in chemistry, classically in the Elbs persulfate oxidation and the Boyland–Sims oxidation reactions. It is also used in radical reactions; for example in a synthesis of diapocynin from apocynin where iron(II) sulfate is the radical initiator.
