Basic Robotics Part - 2 (Water Turbine)

Water Turbine is a small machine (bot) which is inspired from a windmill as, like a windmill when its huge spinning wheel is rotated electricity is produced. A water turbine consists of  a spinning wheel which connects some vessels in which water is poured, a shaft on which the spinning wheel is mounted, a pulley which connects the spinning wheel to a gear box which is further connected to a motor. Basically what happens is the water source is pouring the water into the vessels with some force and therefore the vessel is going down and the other vessel is coming up. The same thing happens with this vessel and thus the spinning wheel rotates. Now, as the spinning wheel rotates, it also makes the pulley to rotate and this pulley now make the gear box mechanism to work. Now as this gearbox is active, this makes the motor' shaft to move. And thus, electricity is produced. In other words the water turbine converts the potential energy of the water into kinetic energy of electricity...
