Product Description

Triammonium citrate is a citrate salt in which all three carboxy groups are deprotonated and associated with ammonium ions as counter-cations. It has a role as a food emulsifier and a buffer.

Application & Usage

Breathing Ammonium Citrate can irritate the nose and throat. Ammonium Citrate is a white powdery material with a slight Ammonia odor. It is used in pharmaceuticals and rust- proofing compounds, and in chemical analysis.

Notes

Ammonium phosphate is the inorganic compound with the formula (NH4)3PO4. It is the ammonium salt of orthophosphoric acid. A related "double salt", (NH4)3PO4(NH4)2HPO4 is also recognized but is impractical use. Both triammonium salts evolve ammonia
