Product Description

Sodium fluoroborate is commonly used in the ceramic industry, for the synthesis of ionic liquids, as a plating and surface treatment agent and in chemical distribution.

Application & Usage

Sodium tetrafluoroborate is used in fluxes, metal finishing and in plating circuits. It is used as a starting material in the preparation of ionic liquids as well as boron trifluoride. It acts as an efficient catalyst for the synthesis of 3,4-dihydropyrimidin-2(1H)-ones and thiones.

Notes

Hygroscopic and moisture sensitive. Incompatible with strong oxidizing agents.
