Product Description

Manganese(III) acetate describes a family of materials with the approximate formula Mn(O2CCH3)3. These materials are brown solids that are soluble in acetic acid and water. They are used in organic synthesis as oxidizing agents.

Application & Usage

Manganese (II) acetate is the chemical compound with the formula Mn(CH3COO)2. It is used as a desiccant, a catalyst, and as fertilizer.

Procedure

there will be no precipitate formed. Both are soluble and dissociate forming the respective ions. None of the possible products are insoluble, so there is NO REACTION. You have Mg2+, Cd2+, Cl-, and C2H3O2- ions, and all possible products are soluble.

Manganese(II) Acetate Tetrahydrate is a moderately water soluble crystalline Manganese source that decomposes to Manganese oxide on heating.
