Product Description

Used as a solvent and paint remover. Dichloromethane is a member of the class of chloromethanes that is methane in which two of the hydrogens have been replaced by chlorine.

Application & Usage

  APPLICATION : ther products containing DCM are used for automotive care, lubrication, lithography, and general cleaning.

Procedure

Methylene chloride is predominantly used as a solvent for paint stripper, varnish removal, aerosol spray repellent and degreasing. It is an effective solvent because of its highly volatility and stability.
