Product Description

Specialized for high speed coolant pumps , RXSOL ELC is a blend of organic compound along with 3 to 15% benzotriazole is especially useful in preventing cavitation corrosion in high speed coolant pumps having aluminum housing and impellers. This could aid service life.

Application & Usage

Coolant Extended Life RXSOL ELC is a high-performance coolant and corrosion inhibitor. It is based on extended-life organic acid Carboxylate technologies and environmentally biodegradable ingredients.

• Low depletion eliminates the need for the introduction of supplementary additives or regular testing or maintenance

Procedure

Coolant Extended Life RXSOL ELC should be mixed at 7.5% by volume with water.
Recommended maximum service intervals, using 7.5% volume with water:
• Passenger car & light truck commercial vehicles: 250,000 km or 5 years
• Heavy-duty diesel, on-road: 600,000 km or 4 years
• Heavy-duty diesel, off-road: 8,000 hours or 4 years
• Stationary power generation & marine engines: 32,000 hours

Answer: RXSOL Coolant contains a specialized oxygen scavenger to remove dissolved oxygen from the cooling system. Dissolved oxygen is one of the primary causes of internal corrosion in metal components such as copper, steel, and aluminum. By neutralizing free oxygen, the oxygen scavenger helps prevent rust formation, pitting, and oxidative degradation, ensuring longer equipment life, stable thermal performance, and reduced maintenance costs.

Answer: The corrosion inhibitor forms a protective molecular film on the internal surfaces of pipes, heat exchangers, cold plates, and metal components. This barrier prevents direct contact between the metal and corrosive elements such as water, oxygen, and dissolved salts. As a result, the coolant minimizes scale formation, galvanic corrosion between dissimilar metals, and material degradation, helping maintain efficient heat transfer and extending the operational lifespan of the cooling system. This allows for timely replacement or maintenance before system performance or equipment safety is compromised.
