Chloroform (CHCl3) is suitable for Normal Phase Chromatographic (NPC) applications, where the stationary phase is polar and the mobile phase involves non-polar solvents. Chloroform being a non-polar solvent is suited for silica packed columns. You can run chloroform on silica-bound C18.
Application & Usage
Chloroform is used as a mobile phase in High Performance Liquid Chromatography and Liquid Chromatography coupled with Mass Spectrometry.
Procedure
It is very slightly soluble in water, freely soluble in chloroform and alcohol.and pyrantel pamoate by RP-HPLC in combined tablet dosage forms.

Filtered through 0.2µ filters. Ethanol stabilized. It is a stable and light sensitive chemical compound. Incompatible with metals and alkalies. Keep the material away from heat, sparks and flame and other sources of ignition. Store it in a cool dry well-ventilated area.
