Buffer Capsules will accurately produce 100 ml. of solution at pH 4.00, 7.00 and 10.00. Hydrion Buffers are free flowing soluble powders that prepare clear or color safe solutions in minutes. The set contains 1 vial of each buffer standard, with each vial containing 10 capsules.
Essentials pH Buffer 7 is used to calibrate your pH meter, by providing a solution with a known pH level of 7. To use, pour a small amount of the solution into a clean vessel, and then immerse your meter's probe into the solution. Tap the probe to remove any bubbles, and allow a few minutes to finalize the reading.
Application & Usage
Dissolve one pH buffer tablet in 20 ml of deionised/distilled water.
Procedure
pH, 7.0 +/- 0.05 (Dissolve contents of 1 capsule & dilute upto 100 ml distilled water to prepare solution of pH 7 at 20°C ) .
Notes
Simply dissolve one pH buffer tablet in 20 ml of deionized water. After 90 s dissolution time, the desired pH value of 7 is achieved.
