Product Description

Borax Pentahydrate Is a Micronutrient Fertilisers that is required for the growth and development of healthy plants as well as in agriculture, But its dose should be in very low quantities. Presence of Boron pentahydrate helps and stimulate seed germination, encourages plant growth, and produces more flowers. Borax Pentahydrates aids in the remedy and prevention of boreal scarcity, stunted growth, and yield loss.

Application & Usage

Application: Mix borax with fine soil or organic matter and apply it in trenches or holes, or combine it with other fertilizers, but avoid direct contact with seeds or seedlings to prevent harm to young plants.
Soil Tests: Performing soil tests is the best way to accurately determine boron levels and avoid detrimental effects on plant growth.

Technical Specifications

Natural Pesticide and Fungicide:
Studies show that borax can be directly applied to crops like peanuts, coffee beans, and cucumbers to act as a pesticide and fungicide.
Nitrogen Fixation:
Borax helps in the process of nitrogen fixation in leguminous crops.

When and Why to Use Borax
Soil Amendment:
Apply borax to soils that have a boron deficiency, which is often found in sandy, dry, or heavily leached soils.
Specific Crop Needs:
It's particularly beneficial for crops with high boron requirements, such as alfalfa, brassicas, and root crops.

Remarks / Precautions

Soil Conditions for affecting BORON in PLANT:
Several soil factors influence the availability of boron to plants:
Soil pH: Boron is more available in slightly acidic to neutral soils (pH 6.0 to 7.0).
Soil Moisture: Adequate soil moisture is necessary for boron to be dissolved and transported to plant roots.
Soil Texture: Sandy soils with low organic matter tend to have lower boron availability.
Calcium and Nitrogen Levels: High levels of calcium and nitrogen can affect boron availability.

Procedure

Dosage: Use borax cautiously; excessive amounts can poison plants.

Notes

Fertilizer Additive: Borax can be included in blended fertilizers to ensure a balanced nutrient profile.

Uses and Benefits
Boron Supplementation:
Borax provides boron, a micronutrient critical for plant growth and function.
Improved Cell Growth:
It aids in new cell development and the formation of strong cell walls, which is essential for structural integrity and proper water balance within the plant.
Enhanced Flowering and Fruit Development:
Boron is vital for flower production, pollen germination, and seed and fruit development, leading to increased yields.
Sugar and Nutrient Transport:
It helps move sugars produced during photosynthesis to active growth regions and plays a role in the transport of other nutrients and water throughout the plant.
Increased Root Development:
Boron is crucial for the development of healthy, thin roots, which increases the plant's ability to absorb water and nutrients from the soil.
Drought Tolerance:
By helping maintain water pressure within cells, boron strengthens plants' ability to withstand dry conditions.
